While researching ways to implement a security system for my car to prevent theft I came across this idea of an inline check valve to lock the cars brakes while you are away. This would prevent someone from just hooking a tow truck up to your car and towing it away. Has anyone else heard of this, or have more information about how it could be accomplished?
I found the initial idea here:

I know a local "repo man"; and he'll deal with pit bulls any night; but a "middle-aged" female Rott (preferably one that was raised from a puppy by the owner and has had a least one litter of pups of her own) in the yard will just make him walk (run) away. "They just don't care about anything except keeping what is theirs!" My wife has had two female Rott's, and he's right.
