Car stalls while making a right turn (Electrical)

Sometimes when I turn my steering wheel to the right, the car just cuts off. The engine will crank but not start up. I guess power stops going to the coil. After moving the steering wheel back and fourth, it will start up again and do okay for a few days. Today, it died while I was making a right turn at a stop light. It is not my daily driver car, so I might try to tackle it myself.

What do you think it might be???

Remove the splash shields turn wheel to full lock and see if you can find anything that may be getting pinched against the metal causing a dead short.
