A friend and I have been trying to figure whatever is causing my car to buck/miss when the throttle is pushed in only a small amount and have come up with nothing. Over the winter we did a mild h/c/i setup that should be fine at low rpms and the car ran fine for about 2 weeks it started the bucking/missing. The car won't idle very well (500rpms is where it stays and barely stays running) and the bucking gets worse when the car warms up but if you give it more throttle it smoothes out and runs great. Also, when I let off to shift and return to the gas at low rpms it will jump and like I quickly mashed the throttle. Heres a list of the things we've changed/checked:
Maf, Iac, Tps, tb and egr gaskets, u/l intake gaskets, injectors, distributor, cap and rotor, plug wires, plugs (all looked normal), coil, computer, timing set at 14*, fuel pressure set at 40psi, egr has been deleted electronically with a resistor from fordfuelinjection.com (I bought this because I thought it was egr causing the motor to act funny at light part throttle but it didnt fix anything). driveshaft bolts tightened, diff fluid checked. Anyone have any other imput on what it could be?
