Car stumbles and "misses" at mid RPM...

Like it says.. my 97 GT auto under WOT stumbles and I believe misses between 3500 - 4500 approx. Car only has a BBK offroad X-pipe and flowmasters and I just put on a K&N and fuel filter to try and fix the problem... no dice. Car has 51,000 miles if that helps.

I'm thinking spark plugs or fuel pump??

Any advice... the mid RPM thing is what's throwing me off???

Original plugs and wires? If they are, just try replacing them, my 98 was doing this for a while, then it finally started throwing codes for a misfire and I replaced the plugs and plug wires (they were the originals, about 58k miles) and it fixed everything. If they are the originals, then they should be replaced anyway, and if it fixes it then you are solid.

Check to see if any of your plug wires burnt on the headers

I forgot it has aftermarket plug wires... but, I'm picking up spark plugs today. What's jetting??
