Ran a KOER test today with my Equus 3145 scanner. Code 31 had come back during KOEO after I set base idle and then I ran KOER and first weird thing, it indicated 6 cylinders... that worried me to hell but I kept going with the test, got codes 94 and 44 which are normal since I have the thermactor holes plugged, and then I did a cylinder balance test in which it said cylinders 7 and 6 were not contributing equally. Could this have anything to do with it reading only 6 cylinders in the first place? Has this happened to anybody?
A little background: Before I had installed my GT40 intake, I accidentally spilled water on the driver side of the engine. With the car on I could see a blue spark from #7. So, I pulled all the wires and plugs on the driver side, blew out the inside with compressed air, and replaced all 4 spark plugs on the driver side side, gapped to .54 or whatever the proper gap is, cant remember. In a previous test, I had also gotten a weak #7 cylinder code, and upon inspection, I pushed the #7 wire at the distributor and it clicked a little, I guess it was loose. Hadn't checked again until now.
What steps should I take from here to figure out the problem? Thanks!
