First thing I need to know is what is the balance on an old 302 block thats is a one piece rear main but does not have the roller lifter setup. Im running the 50oz balance at the moment but im picking up a vibe at around 3k rpm that seems to go away below or above that rpm. This is a friends car im helping him with. We have also pulled off the belt, tried two different balancers and removed the pressure plate and started the car... vibe never changes. Im afraid its a balance problem in the motor its self. If anyone knows the correct balance on this block wich I assume is early to mid 80s please let me know! Im just making sure they didnt do a 28 oz balance on this particular block.
