So I have had this issue for a while but been spending money on Damm Pokemon cards that and I’m working at a dirty job site and it’s my only car so I’ve been neglecting my fox a little. I belive it’s my tires I have a bad camber in front causing inner part of front tires to go bald. I noticed I need power steering fluid and I noitced the leak. Comming out the boot,so what can happen if I keep driving it like that? Can I just add ps fluid?

Coming out of the rack boot? Keep p/s fluid topped off till you replace the rack. And the get that sucker a wheel.alignment.

Check for worn parts and then get a wheel alignment. You don't want to pay for an alignment twice.

If its a high mile car an you have never replaced the outer tie rods, control arm bushings or ball joints you may want to do this when you replace the rack. I would also suggest Maximum Motorsports caster camber plates if you can swing them cost wise as this may be a camber and/or toe issue. Front end alignments are expensive so do all the work once.

If you cannot afford the CC plates then at a minimum get these:

Product Detail | Specialty Products Company | SPC Alignment | The Automotive Alignment Leaders

Specialty Products Company | SPC Alignment | The Automotive Alignment Leaders
www.spcalignment.com

You remove the top bolt on the strut where connects to the spindle and replace that bolt with one of these. The alignment shop can then bring the camber into spec or a lot closer.
