Car went to the paint shop today

The Batmobile finally went in to get painted. Joel told me hopefully next Friday or Saturday (crossing fingers) and it'll be done. Here's what's on the agenda:

Paint/install 00R hood.
Paint/install 03 Cobra front bumper.
Fill in wing holes/paint rear decklid
Shave doorlock, bodywork metal dented when lock was punched, paint drivers door.
Repaint roof.
Repaint sailpanel.
Bodywork dings on driver's side rear quarterpanel, paint.

I got a Chrysler 300 as a rental car (non-hemi ). One thing I can definately say is that the chassis is much stiffer and far better than ours. No creaks/noises at all. Very surprised at the build quality, even for an American car.

Damn, went by to check on the car today and was told it won't be ready until Wednesday or so

But the doolock was shaved, all dings filled, and the trunklid was filled. Everything was primered and ready to go, so hopefully maybe Tuesday or so.
