I notice when I am almost stopped that the car seems to wobble, like something is out of round.it seems to be something in the front end.

Could be warped rotors, or a bad ball joint. Try grabbing on of the front tires and work it back and forth as hard as you can, see if you can detect any movement.

90% chance your rotors are warped, you can take them somewhere and get them turned if they are within spec. If not buy some new ones.

Put new wheel bearings in it also while you have it apart.

Warper rotors won't make the car physically wobble. Something in the wheel, hub or bearings is out of round...or the strut could be loose or something like that.

I'd put the front on jackstands and start pushing and pulling and moving things around.

My girlfriend just asked me to look into this on her car. Turns out the driver front tire had "cupping" on the inner edge. Never overlook your tires as a source.

Sounds like a tire with a seperated belt. Jack that wheel off the ground and spin it by hand. Watch the tread of the tire as it rotates.

I agree, rotors could be warped, but you are going to feel the wobble, more at high speed braking, not low speed. Tires sound like more of a suspect.Check for bubbles or bulges in the tread.
