Have you done any mods and fuel injected? Check to see if your fuel lines are running against any hot parts where the fuel may be getting too hot and becoming vaporized. If you're still stock, then it shouldn't be that. I'm sure someone else has some better ideas.

When it fails, have someone check to see if the ignition is firing while you turn it over. Sounds like a bad ignition module to me. Common on Fords and is usually affected by heat.

Thank you.

One can lose a lot of money tossing parts at a problem rather than diagnosing it and buying the part that is needed.

Follow this advice and post back. Also Jrichker has some info for cars that wont start - you would have to pick and choose which info to follow, but it might help you.
Good luck.
