Car won't start after intake valve replacement

I bent a valve a few weeks ago and I just got the motor back together. I went to start it and it wouldn't fire. I messed with the timing a bit, but then got it dead on. So timing was out. Then I took the upper back off and the valve covers to double check that the valves were opening all the way and readjusted those. But it still won't start. What else could be holding the motor back from starting. I want to get this done and drive it for atleast a week before it gets too cold. Anyone???

Check for spark and fuel.

Its there, because I did a spark check and the exhaust smells like fuel. And with that, I suspected flooding at first, but then pulled fuel out for the spark to blow it all out and then tried fuel again and it still didn't work. Its on a custom tuned chip so flooding shouldn't be happening.
