when i drive my car around alot sometimes i go to restart it and i just cranks and cranks ...leave it for a while 30-45 min then it fires right up ....new fuel pump and distributer and coil ...anything i should check
As I am sure you know, holding the gas pedal while cranking cuts the injector pulse (helps with flood conditions).nickg42oz said:Working on the same problem here. If I hold the gas peddle all the way down while cranking it will start.
take a spark plug wire off a plug. grab a spare spark plug off the bench (i keep old plugs around for this) and put the old plug in the plug boot. set the old plug on the plenum with the threads touching the plenum (ground). crank and watch for a spark to jump the plug gap.mr5o said:i can hear the pump kick on ....whats the best way to check the spark
