Car wont start

Well today I hooked up my amp while it was drizzling outside. I had the hood open the whole time and now it wont start. It ran for about 30 seconds and then stalled, It still turns over fine but thats all it does. Could it be because of water in the coil or distributor cap?? I'am gonna try in the morning when the rain stops though, but until then any input would be great. Thanks,

Yeah that could be it...shouldn't take to long to dry though. Since you said you just put in an amp..I would check your battery cables and make sure they're clean and tight, because a bad connection could also be the problem.
