Carb experts: Everything is super except one little thing...

Hi, first of all thanks for all your past help.

Now the car runs real nice, idles smooth like a new car and has a lot of gut. But my problem is after a while it won't idle anymore. The linkage or whatever doesn't go back to idle. I removed my throttle cable and it still wouldn't go back to idle by itself. My springs are pretty much stretched out - maybe my springs are too gay or something.

The idle adjustment is fine but the lever never seems to touch the screw after a few blips of the throttle.

i went to O rileys and got a double spring setup and i have nomore idleing problems

yea mine did the same thing on my edelbrock i just got a really heavy spring on there and sprayed some wd40 on mine, after a couple weeks i took it off and put the lighter spring back on and have no more problems

i have to use another return spring on my setup to. no biggy
