I just bought an 85 coupe with a 4cyl. There is a guy down the street selling a wrecked mark VI with the 4.6 DOHC for under 1000. The whole car. It would be nice to go FI but for simplicity and w/e I wanna go carb. What all will I need? I wanna do this as cheap as I can. Do I just use the engine and trans? Where do I get a manifold for the DOHC its like a '94. Sulivan only has an intake for '99 and up.

lol, making an already FI engine carburated should not be in the same sentence as "simplicity"

I think there are two guys in the NMRA running a carbed 4.6L, one is in a Fox and the other is in a mid 90's T-bird. Maybe check on their forum???
