The rear seat delete kits that are out there dont weigh that much to begin with. I have one that is collecting dust in my garage and it weighed about 3 pounds, tops. Or at least that's what it felt like.

Just use 1/4 or 1/2 MDF wood... Just dont put anything heavy on it. Carbon fiber will be WAY too much $$$ and for the weight you save over wood, probably 5 pounds, it wont be worth it

Where can you buy a wooden kit? I'm interested in one but don't feel like fooling with it myself.

This is my favorite and what I would have.... but I bought a stang BECAUSE it has a back seat that is usable. Got to have a place for my 5 year old.
