Fairly easy fix I'm sure. I'm just a rookie haha. I'm cleaning up a newly aquired 68 302 Automatic and I'm having trouble with the carburetor. From what I understand, once you push the accelerator down once it sets the choke and closes the carburetor until you hit the pedal again to bring it to a normal idle. yesterday I got it to do just that. Today I go out to warm it up to diagnos the next couple of things to do and it wont stay closed, so the car wont keep idling. everything is lubercated nicely and everytyhing else seems to be in good order. It just seems like there should be a pin or something to hold the door closed. any pointers? Should be easy for a bunch of enthusiasts! =-) Thanks
