1) Do you think hood pins would look dorky on a 02 mustang v6 convertable?

2) Do you think adding gt/cobra fog lights to a v6 stang is worth for looks and useage?

3) Do you think a cold air intake will give a 02 v6 stang automatic anykind of extra performance?

:rlaugh:

1. Yes, and if your gonna add hood pins, add some fender stick on vents too.

2. It's worth it.

3. A little <5 hp.

1) I'm not a fan of hood pins. I know they are needed in some cases, though. I have a cervini 95 cobra r hood, and the hood fits just as well as a stock hood so I don't need them. If its hood pins on a stock hood, don't waste the money. Hood pins are there to keep the hood from smashing the windshield. Not to look good ;)

2) Fog lights are alright. Personally, I wouldn't spend money on fog lights. I have a saleen bumper so fogs would look really out of place on the bumper. I live in MS and it gets really really foggy here early in the morning during late summer/early fall. No problems without fogs. If I had a cobra bumper, I'd probably get fog lights. I like the circles.

3) Save yourself $90 and just buy the K&N filter. The CAI is two parts: K&N Filter and a fully exposed filter. The stock filter box covers 2/3 or so of the filter making it fairly hard to breath. It really just increases throttle response since the K&N filter is less restrictive and the open design allows the filter to suck in alot of air from 360 degrees. I think the CAI units look weird and I really prefer the look of the stock unit. So I just purchased the filter. You can't really notice 2hp, but your car will thank you for a new filter. The stock filter can be compared to sucking a beachball through a coffee straw. That can't be good on the engine.

I think hood pins look fine but they can scratch things up.

Fog lights are good, if you have much fog.

Replacing the stock filter with a K & N filter along with removing the silencer tube is cheaper, gains the same hp and tq (on a NA engine) and is 50 state legal, not all CAI's are legal.

1. No, on the hood pins. No reason for them, and they rarely even end up looking good.

2. Yes, on the Foglights, if you like them and/or they're useful

3. Yes, on the CAI... and, despite what conventional wisdom would say, in my experience, a CAI is worth several horsepower over just having a K&N in the stock airbox.
