catalytic converter question....

i just bought and o/r h-pipe and i want to put in some cats that i can take out and remover when inspection time comes. i have the plan on where and how i am goin to do this o the pipe, now i just need the cars.....i was looking at the catco cats that summit sells, are they any good they seem pretty inexspesive?

if u r looking just to keep them on for inspection then who cares??? just buy the cheapest one.

you can buy the magnaflow(carsound) cats off of ebay for about 30 bucks each...the name of the seller is performance peddler

why don't you just stick your stock exhaust back on when it comes time to take the car in for inspection? You are making it more difficult then it needs to be...

Yeah dont butcher up the assembly , just put the stock one back on to get the inspection done , they might reject it if you butcher the pipes up and they can tell its been modified , they will swear it has a leak even if it doesnt and reject it anyway , look around if its just a visual inspection some people wont look that close at it even with the Off road on it .
