So I need to put all the emissions equipment back on my car for state inspection.
I ordered a Catco H-Pipe with high-flow cats from Summit for $299.
I am NOT happy with it! It will work for the purpose of passing inspection, but I'd never leave this on my vehicle.
Two biggest issues:
1. The crossover pipe itself extends about 1" into the exhaust pipe on each side! This obviously will create a major flow restriction.
2. The damned thing doesn't fit! It's about two inches too narrow at the header end. I'm going to have to cut it in half and mount it in the same fashion as my BBK off-road pipe.
Just a heads up. I'll make it work, but it's much more of a pain in the ass than it should be. I wish I would have spent another $100 on a better piece.
