So i heard any turbo, SC, or Nitrous cars you must wear a fire Jacket?

I was given a full race suit and Just wondering if I got to wear it now. Waiting for some locals to chim in.

Yes. Aftermarket power adders require a jacket here.

Fortunately single layer jackets can be aquired for cheap, although it can be argued the multi-layer is a better buy for safety.

It is true for any aftermarket SC, even if your car came with a stock one. A jacket is only about $60 anyway.

The NHRA rule book does state that any car that has a power adder, and it did not come with the power adder from the factory, you need a fire jacket. But,... I don't think I've ever been bugged about it till I ran the E.T.

That being said, get the jacket, you'll need it...

Awesome. I have a full 2 layer suit from Diest safety if they bug me I guess.
