I own a '00 GT 'Vert.
I would like to buy a CD changer and place it in the trunk.
Do any of you know if that will cause the CD's to skip...with the CD changer in the trunk area?
Is there any other place I could put it other than the trunk?

Please advise.

Thanks,

CD changers are very skip resistant. Think if it this way,a normal cd player is 2 inches tall by 7 wide by 7 deep. In that chassis you have to fit the cd player, the amp,the radio and all the other circuitry for tone adjustments etc. A cd changer is much larger and only has to play cd's. Thsi allows for alot more suspension movement inside the changer for better skip resistance.
