Personally I cant do this ATM, but what I'm looking for is any one with the CDC shaker or possibly even the KarKrafters...
If we seal off the fender airflow, and seal all the gaps, will the Shaker provide enough air or possibly better air flow and in turn + HP?
What I wanted to do was silicone the shaker fully at the shajer AND air box and seal off the fender well intake. Is this possible (I'm sure it is) is it reasonable or functional?

that might hurt you when your not at highway speeds though because the air has to make a lot of turns with the shaker intake.

I was just thinking that the engine will "pull" what it needs if its not getting enough right? Think theres a way to make the air go directly to the engine? (of course youd have to find a filter for it)

IMO the shaker is 95% looks and 5% performance. On the original Mach's it actually did something because it sat atop the carb. On the current models like 01MachGT said it would have to make a lot of twists and turns to got into the intake if you sealed off the standard intake.
