CD's getting stuck in Mach 460

Wrong, wrong, wrong. Before you remove your headunit and disassemble it, you need to know that the 6-disc in-dash CD players aren't made by Sony like the single disc player on this website and the problem isn't with the opto-sensors. Our units are made by Visteon and the problem is with the ejector rollers that can't grab the disc well enough, especially if it has a paper label or if the player has been on for a long time and the discs are nice and hot.

Don't take it apart, just take it to your dealer. I got a brand new unit that hasn't eaten a disc yet.

Crutchfield is a little overpriced... I've bought amps and other car audio stuff from www.ikesound.com and they have great prices and great customer service. They have wholesale prices because I read somewhere that they sell over $18,000 a month from car audio sales on ebay. Their rating is great on ebay too... Ike and his crew are top notch.

AHH. ive had the same problems. its really easy to get the cd out. you just push the cd thats in there with another cd... and it should pop out fairly easy.

glad to hear you all had the same problems.

I tried this and it worked!! I had the same damn CD in for over 6 months.

Thanks!
