My street/strip notch needs a new clutch. Been looking and listening about who likes what and why. DFX seems to be more suited towards the strip. Does anyone have any experience with the DFX on the street or strip? Comparisons?

Allot of the 03/04 Cobra guys have them and I've heard its great BUT theres chatter and it does seem like they wear out fast. I dont have 1st hand experience with them but if you want checkout Modularfords.com under 03/04.

Get a Spec Stage 3.

My DFX lasted a month.

Drove like total crap, very noise ...

The weights in the middle were thrown off which led to a one thing after another situation.

Had my car towed to a shop at 1am ... so it was that kind of awesome.

This happened just after getting my car back together when the supercharger blew up and was down for a month. So I was very happy to be on a tow truck again.

Thanks for the advice one and all. I did read the write up in 5.0. Tylerb59 I feel your pain. Blew the clutch up going across St. John's bridge. Coasted to the Aarco station and at 2:00 a.m. the tow truck showed up. I am buying a trailer for next season for sure. Or weld a hook in my grill.

I will look into the stage 3's. Thanks!

I have a center force in mine, it just went out last week. After talking to several people, I also was hearing they go out fairly quick. I'm going KC.
