I was one of the rare ones that would like to see them included. I hold the 94-95 5.0s in the same family as all of the other 5.0 mustangs. Obviously, this is Stangnet so I would only expect to see mustangs in the 5.0OTM. Though SN95s include the 94 and 95s, I feel like we have a closer connection to them than the modular crowd.

I thought about this again, and i think the biggest part is just the styling differences. You can put up a sweet example of each body style and for me it would really be hard to pick a sure winner...i love them both. Then, to be totally blunt honest, what's probably going to happen is people are going to be biased towards the Fox contestants since afterall they are out numbered by a huge margin.

If i owned a '94-95 i wouldn't want to be lumped together with the rest of the Fox cars anyways...that's taking away from the uniqueness of them. They should do their own thing for themselves and for us (if that makes sense).

Not much of a sn95 fan, but i voted yes....at least it'll get rid of some of these fox nominations lately!

Bring the talent, or bring the 94-95's. Just my opinion...

I would say no. I have offered to let them run with the 4.6 crowd as I started a SN of the month not 4.6 of the month.
IDK, mabey I should have a poll
But since most of thoes guys just hang in the 94-95 forum then they really should have their own Stang of the month. Mabey at the end of the year we could take all the winners and run them against each other for a StangNet Stang of the year
I should start a poll on that.

Meh... We've already got 11 Foxes. Soon to be twelve. That's plenty of nominees for FOTY.

Maybe I'm just hatin'.....but I agree that if those guys want to celebrate their cars....create a separate competition in that thread. Seems pretty logical to me.

I have to agree with NoSlo90. Not to start a flame-fest, and this is derail material, but we have kinda half ass nominations sometimes, and I feel like we have enough members with reeeeaaaaally nice/cool/unique cars to see some badass FOTM on a regular basis. So far though, the badass cars have all won, so I guess its ok, haha.

Half ass?

ALL Foxes are eligible for nomination. Even my two lowly beaters.

Just because someone hasn't spent thousands of dollars on their Fox doesn't mean it's not worthy.

I just feel like the cars competing for FOTM should be the cream-of-the-crop. I'd be the first to tell you my car shouldn't be in the running. Maybe someday...

But obviously, things like popularity and back-story take a role, which is fine, because its a democracy and people can vote for whatever the hell they want, haha. So I'll leave it at that.

Just because an engine bay isn't sparkly doesn't make a car half-ass.

Besides....nominations come from members. If people want the really badass cars to be nominated instead of the half-ass ones....then they should get up off their lazy arses and nominate them.

I've been nominated a couple times and am OK losing to the cars that are cleaner and better built. Like last months, the car was basically better than new in all aspects. Every bit of it was new and shiny, and it was built to go as well.

But since everyone's criteria for a nice car is different, thus we have open nominations and open voting. Seems pretty logical to me.

Personally, I'd rather vote for a Fox that STILL does DD duty than a trailer queen.

To me, the DD is still earning it's keep and isn't just a decoration. Like Darkwriter77's '84 LX or ryan218s vert. They're both still pretty clean too.

Not to derail or fight.....

but could you clarify some of the half-assed nominations. I take some offense to this being a car that has been nominated. A half-ass nomination = a half ass car and I'm just curious which cars you're calling half-assed.
