changing belt on vortech

It's getting dark and went to change the belt for a smaller pully on my vortech but we couldn't get it off. It looks like the belt raps around the bracket which holds the vortech on and so do you have to take off the vortech and bracket from the engine to remove the belt or am I missing something. Thanks.

If yours is like mine you have to remove the S/C bracket to get the belt off and on. I have a SQ trim on a 2001. The S trim and the T trim are the same way on 99 to 2004

I guess the 00 ups are different.Because i only have to remove one bolt to change my belt out..
