Hey, I see the hoses there that I could release, but wondering if there is a drain plug somewhere. This is probably a stupid question so i'm gonna put on my flamesuit, but I'm trying to do some stuff myself instead of keep paying other's for service

yea, open up the radiator cap to speed up the flow.
then refill with coolant.
run your car until it warms up.
let it cool down
then refill it again.
then go for a drive and check it again

hey

Are you trying to do a full drain / flush / refill? Just draining via the plug will only drain about half the coolant in the system.

Check out www.bullitarchive.com in the general maintenance section for a do it yourself flush and fill. But the best way is at the shop or Ford dealer, I think they pump all the crap out at once.

Check out Redline Water Wetter, you add it to your coolant/distilled water mixture and it supposedly helps lower cylinder head temps more than by just antifreeze and water.

Thanks guys.. I'll try some water wetter next time.. i've got the fluid drained so, gotta fill with what I have at the house now. I'm gonna run some hose water thru the system for a min or two to clear out the system, shut off the motor, wait for it to drain.. then fill with 50/50 mix..

thanks for the bullitt archive site.. it was informative.
