Question replacing my rear leaf springs! Do i need to disconect the rear brake lines when doing the change? Or can I just jack the car up and place jack stands under the car and then use a floor jack to lift the rear up when unbolting the springs! Car is a 1965 289 4v 4-speed Mustang, and I'm looking to get the car to sit level with a full tank of gas, should new stock rated spring work or do I need to get heavy duty ones? What about the shackles, should i send the extra money to get heavy duty ones! Car is not driven much and its raced, I drive it like an old man!
