ok im sure i will get flamed but figured some of the none body guys would be interested in an alternative to painting your car.

yes its vinyl
its 3m car vinyl super easy to work with and looks great ( i think )
picked up a 60"X25yd roll of matte black for a decent price also doing a gsxr750 on the side.

will post more pics as i get them done
i also spray tinted brake lights with vent shade

Seen that done a few times. Perfect for a beater or a car you don't car about.

Very easy way to add stripes to your car. It will not look perfect though, for those of you finding this in a search. You get what you pay for.
 
check your local sign supply shops, thats what i did it is not that hard if you have any experience with tint you have the basic concept. chase bubbles, remove creases etc. Alot of people do this on highend cars to protect the paint and get a color change. here is one video of a new mustang it looks great!

the price is because of labor and 2000 bucks is about what i was quoted at, so instead i picked up a roll for 400 bucks and i do a panel a night (to keep aggravation down)
