Well I need a new air filter. I'd love to get a K&N but they are too damn expensive for me right now. So what are some other alternatives for me? Here is a pic of what I have now. The filter is pretty dirty. I'd also like to go bigger if I can, well I know I probably can, the one I have now is tiny. I also have a hole cut in the hood from the hood scoop that is on there. The carb is a Holley 4160. Suggestions?

Edit: I was thinking of some other K&N thing that was soo expensive, I guess $30 for an airfilter that lasts forever isnt that bad at all.

you have such a nice motor, why not save and spoil it, plus they are re-usable...you might want to look into getting one of the jegs or summit re-usable filters..they are very similar to k&n..just kinda knock-off's...but i prefer the k&n

Ya I think I'll save up and get a K&N unless I can find a knockoff just like it. I did some measuring a minute ago and the filters diameter that I have now is like 9.75", so is that considered a 10"? The ring that goes on the carb is 5" diameter. The hole in the hood is about 9.75" width by 14" length.

Oh and the filter is 2" high.
