I've seen alot of throttle bodies on ebay that are brand new and less than $100. All of them look are exactly the same as the Professional Products TB's, and even the new Summit Racing TB's are carbon copies of PP. Some of the ebay ones come with lifetime warranties. Are they really worth buying instead of getting an Accufab for a 130 extra and maybe 2 hp? I'm guessing not for taking a risk of getting a sticking throttle.

Also, should I get a 70mm or 75mm TB? I know the issue has been beaten to death. I'll probably end up getting a Trick flow plenum since i can get a big discount at Summit. On Trick flow's website a 70mm TB and plenum flows better than the 75mm TB and plenum. Is there a bigger advantage going with the 75mm since I have cams?

I have a 75mm Professsional Products tb (polished) I got for $100 shipped. Very very nice, increased throttle response, and probably gave me 5-8rwhp or so (I'm boosted). I wouldn't buy a more expensive one, they are pretty much the same thing, a throttle body is a pretty simple machine.

I have the 75mm Professional Products with a satin finish, it was like $99 I think.

Either way its not a peice of crap like everyone claims since its "made in China", its very well finished and the spring is not stiff or sticky. Its very smooth.

Paying $170-200+ for JUST a throttle body is a waste of money in my opinion. Cheaper ones will do the same job, and leave more money for other stuff. Plus you wont notice a gain with just a throttle body, you will probaly notice a small one with the TB and plenum. But just one really doesnt do much without the other.
