I ran a 12.16 @113.47 today on drag radials with a 1.71 60'. Im looking for the cheapest way too add power to drop 2 tenths, i want to run an 11 on drag radials consistently which relies on driving mostly i know but a lil more power never hurts. Im still on the stock tb, stock maf, stock heads etc.. Where do i reach the point where these parts are really holding me back and upgrading will really benefit me? Heads are too much and i'd hate to buy a maf for 19lb injectors when this winter ill be going to 30's.
What do you suggest

Those times are awesome for stock heads! I say loose the spare tire, back seats, and right headlight and you might get one tenth maybe two. Other then that just practice practice practice. Nothing is going to have more of an impact on your et and mph then a good and improving driver.

get all the extra weight out of the car, ice the intake, bypass your powersteering, ac, and smog.

That pass was on nitrous, already have a manual rack, no a/c no spare/jack but i do have full interior i dont think ditching the rear seats alone is gonna do enough and i like the look of a full interior. I know i can run 11's right now on slicks its just funner on to say you can do it on drag radials with alot of stock stuff. I was hoping a 70mm tb would give me the jump im looking for atleast a mph or 2.

you must not be running much nitrous then... if you run 107mph on motor it sounds like you need to step up the jets! Do you let off the gas to shift? Dont

You're not sparying enough. My coupe went from a 12.9 N/A to a 11.67 on a 150 shot (plate kit w/ E cam). My hatch went from a 13.4 N/A to a 11.87 on a 150 shot (nozzle kit w/ custom cam). Both are E7, AOD cars. The coupe's heads are unported. It's the manual rack, tubular K, no a/c car. The hatch is full weight down to the spare tire.

Yeah im still not use to a t5 so my shifting sucks, i thought my nitrous times were pretty weak too. Thing is i have 110 nitrous jet so its pretty much putting out as much as the super powershot noids can so something is off. Shotblock is a stock 135,000+.
Drag radials are 275/60-15 m/t et street radials, their brand new hopefully they are better broken in, i didnt find the good way to launch untill the day was over although i did pull the left front every pass. But on et drags it really yanked them. Best launch was at 4500 slip the clutch and go problem was it would hook then unload and spin so its something in my suspenion setup maybe my pinion angle's off going to 28's.

I think i will set my pinion angle, get bigger nitrous noids and feed line and a new fuel pump. Pinion angle is free, noids shouldnt be much after i sell my current ones and it still has the stock 177K 4cyl fuel pump so it needs replaced anyways. Im looking for a set 28'' et drags just to see what it will do launching WOT and on nitrous, i have a 331 on standby so no mercy for this stock 302.

Im running a cheap dry kit, (nos5115) like i just said i agree i expected alot more. Im gonna keep playing with it, i just ran the 12.10 class the nest class is 11.40 so i really need to step it up to be competetive in my series.

i think you would benefit by upgrading your throttle body and mass air meter, especially when running the nitrous.

btw, i don't think that your pinion angle changes when changing tire sizes because your driveshaft moves along with it. it just changes the rear end height. i bet it would change your instant center/weight transfer though.

maybe you have a solenoid stopped up. Try using 67nitrous and 42fuel jet. What jet do you have in the fuel right now?
