Check Fuel Cap Light

My "Check Fuel Cap" light came on after I changed my intake manifold. I can't find any missing or broken vacumme lines and I've removed and replaced my fuel cap several times...nothing has made the light turn off. I cleared it a couple time but i keeps coming back. I'm at a loss...

Check the EVAP purge vacuum line from the intake manifold to the right hand fender well.

Check the gas tank filler neck for rust through.

Check the gas tank filler neck grommet for rot.

It might help to mention the model year of your car.

Sorry, it's a 2000 GT. I'll check the filler neck but the light never came on till I changed the intake manifold. Ill have to check to make sure the line is connected behind the fender. It is connected at the intake plenum. The fuel cap light has been on since the manifold was changed but I have never had a code come up.
