I finaly got my new bassani headers and x-pipe in, and im so excited about installing them, i got mid length ceramic coated headers, stainless steel bassani x-pipe, urathan motor and tranny mounts, locking headers bolts amd the head gaskets, expensive but worth it.

question though, should i use the square gaskets that came with the bassani headers or use the ford original gaskets that i have here??

Use the Ford gaskets (if they are in good condition, if they look "so-so," order new factory gaskets).

I was told that you should use both and thats what i did. Works great and no leaks. I just finished the install on my 96 and went pretty good. I would recommend dropping the kmember to put them on. I didn't and ended up taking a long time, more so on passanger side cause a few bolts r hard to get to. Good thing to do is when you put them on one at a time is too tighten them so you can move them a little just so the collector will go on. Its easier b/c then you 3 or 4 bolts that are a pain, won't need as much tightening saving some time. I was able to do the drivers side w/o removing the steering column doing the same sorta thing, but if you do u have to put the 3rd pipe on the 1st then 2nd, just mees around with it till it works. I also had to make extensions for the O2 sensors so keep that in mind. On the driver's side removing the battery and fuse box helps alot as well. I think thats about it. If you got any q's let me know and i'll try to answer then since its fresh in my mind how i did it. Also most of that advice is if you do it w/o dropping K ur choice really. Jeremy
