haha...finally painted my new hood and put it on..crappy cell phone pics... they make the color of the hood look way off frome the rest of the car but in real life you can hardly tell the difference in paint...and when fitting the hood i had to shave down the hood latch area due to it being too thick for the latch to latch and i found out that there is a big thick metal plate molded into the CF! so no hood flop up for me!

I also spent the weekend not only painting my hood but i also finally swapped my crappy cracked intake for a new non plastic intake and swapped all plugs and C.O.P's...she feels great to drive now

I gernally hate cowls but it looks pretty good. Definitely clear corner headlights and rims next.

as for the headlights, i was thinking of getting the ones saleenGT2001 has...i wanted tinted lenses but since i have clear foglights i dont think that would match up to well...but ya never know i guess

and as for rims, i made up my mind on getting DD anthracite fr500's.....until i saw an atlantic blue gt with a saleen bodykit (or maybe it was real) that had extra shiny black saleen rims....i cant stand all black rims but when i saw that combo it looked so effin sexy and sinister....so if i go with those, ima wet sant the rims and shoot a couple coats of clear on them to make them pop

i wish you woulda been able to get yours put on...at least now you know if you buy another car to put it on that it has metal bracing in the latch area
