I know this is illegal on this site but maybe I can get away with it for a little while. Check out the dish on these wheels on this stang. He had to narrow the rearend over 10" to get these to fit.

I'd would agree with that being a little overboard

Tom, if you just post a picture from the auction, I think that circumvents the rule (don't hold me to it, but I think I've seen Andy post that before).

No comment on the wheels. I have this funny taste in my mouth.

Those look like they should have some 35 inch super swampers on them.

Thats still a damn nice car though.

Well let me clarify. I don't like the wheels either, but I just wanted to show the big dish because of the narrowed rear end. You don't see dishes like that on mustangs

I like the dish, but it would look better with a different wheel style. A custom set of TrueForged, iForged, Fikse, or HRE's would be perfect

This guy has been trying to sell this car since I started looking to buy a Mustang, and I was searching on eBay. I actually like the car a lot, I think the wheels are a bit overkill, as well as the jungle-gym-ness of the cage, but its a pretty neat car otherwise.

Put a dish like that on some black Cobra R's. Bullits, or FR500's.

One thing I dont get though.

He has 335's on there.

You dont need to narrow the rear end 10 inches to fit 335's. lol

That's what I was thinking.......

Shortening the axle 5" on each side would allow for quite a lot more tire or else it was wasted effort for 335s.

Another thing, is there even 5" inches on each side to play with without having to re-engineer the whole rear suspension? At some point, that has to get in the way of the RLCAs, shocks, underbody, etc.

I guess for a straight line car the shortening would not hurt anything, but it just seems like handling over all would decrease a fair amount.

Looks way to deep to me.......kind of cartoonish. Kind of like the wheel hub is trying to hide.

True, but he needs a good bit of it to run the offset he is on those wheels.
