Why do all that work and not paint the engine bay?

seems like the nitrous kit, the minor suspension, and supporting mods could probably put in the 11's. Probably have to shift the shyt out of it but possible.

That is my friend's car. He just got a divorce and moved from Omaha down to St Louis. He bought the car from Paul Brown, a great scca racer who is involved with Tiger Racing now. It's a nice car, but he cheaped out by not painting the engine bay or the trunk jambs...always bugged me too. That car was put together in 1994 so it has been untouched for a few years now. Paul Brown used to run HPMotorsports where that car was in a few magazine tech articles...braking and suspension tech I believe. We took that car to Scribner Raceway where it ran a 13.1 @ 114mph so the power is there, just needs some better 60fts. I was considering buying the car, but it's not worth $8500 and he wouldn't budge on the price
