Check this auction on tires...need advice:

I need new tires for my car. This is an auction that has already ended but I'm talking with the guy about meeting up and buying them.

Questions:

1. Should I be concerned about dry rot (they've sat for a year)?
2. Any news on "Grand Turbo" tires?
3. Can you educate me on the different tire sizes (obviously the back tires are bigger than the front)? Is this a problem?

I'd like to pick up some rims with tires that's why I'm considering this. Right now I drive on pony's that are faded. My car is basically stock (except for exhaust and and very minor bolt-ons). The suspension is stock.

I dont see any probs with em, as long as they havent been sitting outside which they dont seem to have been, I'd hate to sink more than $600 in the whole deal to be honest

Yeah, I'm looking at around $500 to $550...negotiations ares still on.
