Wow I wish my Mommy would buy me a vette. But some of us have to work for what we get. So its a good thing you wouldnt actually by a new mustang. But you should fit in with the other 90% of vette owners, who thinks their s*** doesnt stink!

personally I like the 05 styling, more for what it CAN be than anything else. I am one of the few that actually liked most of the 05 Roush package, and couldn't stand the 05 Saleen at all. I sat in a V6 a week ago, it seems to have fixed a lot of the things I really don't like about my car, i.e. shifter too far forward, clutch that feels wierd, knees hitting the turn signal lever...

I'm gonna test drive a GT one of these days to decide whether or not I want to get one or put money into mine.

The 05 rides better than any mustang before it. The mustang is no longer just a motor and 4 wheels....I was going to get a 40th ann. gt but after I test drove it I might as well have been driving my 130k mile 5.0....it had just as many sqeaks and rattles....not impressed at all. The 05 blew me away after riding in it, it much more refined than previous mustangs and it actually responds when going around twisties.....oh and body roll is a thing of the past.

saw a couple this weekend and I must admit that they look much better in person...the cool thing is that they are so different looking that they don;t make the 99-04 body style look dated IMO.

I have never seen an '05 'Stang in person....yet.
But I do like the cornfield ad "with" Steve McQueen. (Very nice editing, BTW!)

Do the '05's come in a 'Vert? I don't think so, 'cause I have not heard much about the '05 'Verts.

The 05's will be available in a vert sometime spring to summer 2005.

And I'll be first in line to SAVE that 10k...the salesman I talked to on the one I looked at tried his best to get me to take one at sticker...I told him to call me when the rebates come out.

One thing I noticed is the air intake makes an S from the fender to the TB. That needs to be straightend out. The grill is horrible. I prefer the setback look of the 94-98 cars with the floating pony. The grill on the 05 has the pony incorporated into the whole grill. Otherwise I love it. Saw a redfire one yesterday on the road and it is awesome.
