chipped key

how do i wire past the chipped key the ex took the key and my 99gt has been parked sense july i dont have the extra cash to tow it to ford and have them reprogram and cut me a key

cant, pats system would have to be disabled. Only thing is to tow it and have them reprogram a key.

i had this happen when i lost my key out of town, Looked up a locksmith that advertised chip and smart keys, gave him my vin #, when he got to me he had already cut the key and plugged some pats tool into the OBDII port, told it to recognize the new key's resistance (code). computer he had did all the work. You will most likely have to show proof of ownership as i did.
If i remember it was about $180 for 2 key and remotes

Another option is to find the ex and beat the key out of her.

Best option is to call around to a locksmith. You may find a price you can affords and they will come to your door instead of having to tow it in. Ford charges way too much anyway.
