I'm looking for any information on some of the chips out there...


What are your guys favorites and for what reasons? What do you all think of SCT (SuperChipsCustom.com) chip @ 325$ retail (for NA). Is that on the expensive side or what? Thats for just a single program too I believe right?

I myself use Superchips' chip.We have a member in our club who works for them, and swears by them.He has a lot of expirience out there with mustang tuning.We took my stang out for a run with his lap top plugged in,got the info he needed,burned the chip,and played with a few different tunes,and voila,my stangs rocks at the seat of your pants.
Any horsepower gains,don't know !Don't really care.Wasn't getting a chip for dyno numbers,just wanted to get my stang to get customed tuned to run stronger!!
Car runs better,pulles better,and the throttle response is nice !
He tuned in more fuel and timing,fixed my speedo to my gears,and i had him have my fan come on a bit earlier!!

As for pricy,...try living in Canada for prices on high performance parts !

They are also developing a hand held tuner much like Diablo makes for the Cobras.

SCT is the best, IMO. Check out www.modulardepot.com - they sell and support the SCT chip, tuner and software. SCT has the best support, hands down.

unless you are dyno tuning the chip, don't bother..

just my opinion.

I have Diablo Sport Delta Flip Chip custom tuned and on a Mustang Dyno I picked up 7 RWHP and 25 Ft-Lbs torque N/A

This is a dyno run before and after no other mods then the chip .

Sorry for the bad quality but you should be able to see.

I'm not sure you're mods, but unless your car is heavily modded there are many better ways to spend $325 on your mustang.

SCT would be my choice btw if you're insistent on a chip.
