I am still on my stock clutch and it is slipping pretty bad. So while my car is down for the winter I was going to upgrade the clutch. I've heard good things about Spec clutches but and still unsure. Mods are in the sig and hope to be around 500 rwhp soon. Thanks for any help! God Bless! Andrew.

Spend the extra money on the centerforce! It'll take the worry out of deciding what else is out there. I've have a Ford HD now, i've had a SPEC II before. When the time comes i'm going all out on Centerforce. Thats what I should've done first.

THATS NOT TRUE CUZ I HAVE RUN A FEW SETUPS OF WALTS BEFORE AND I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBS. AND I PICKED UP HIS kUSTOM CLUTCH FOR MY NEW SETUP. THEY ARE PRETTY GOOD OVER THERE ABOUT SELLING QUALITY STUFF OTHER THAN THAT MAYBE ASK ASTRO PERFORMANCE WHAT THEY THINK. BUT FROM WHAT I SEE YOU ARE STILL RUNNING A T5 IF YOU WANT TO BABY THAT THING YOU MIGHT WANT A LITTLE LESS AGRESSIVE CLUTCH.

Everyone here will tell you Promotion because Paul likes it

lol this is true to a degree, kinda like the eddy/afr/fti combos. but i cant talk because i have that set up just minus the afr's:D

anyway i love specs. i have a spec 2 in my car now and LOVE it. ive driven a car with the spec 3 (98 cobra) and i like it too, less slippage and engages a LOT harder but is still easy to drive. ill probably need a spec 3 next year anyway lol

Oh yeah and Joe hehe, Promotion has a great rep I was only teasing

Wonder why my Spec 3 is soft, no chatter....guess I got lucky mine is a Stage 3+ so maybe thats the diff I dunno

Mine did slip on me the other day onj 16psi though...pissed me off.

Nah no Prob Chris,

But yeah I wouldn't recommend anything that I personally haven't had a first hand good experience with. They are very involed over ther in the racing circuit and they have a pretty good feel for what works...side note from what I know they actually had something to do with the development of the g-force t5 so they actually know the need of the racer and street car.
