Hey, was washing my car and realized MY CHROME ON MY WHEELS IS PEELING! What the hell! It started peeling from the inside wells and is moving towards the outside. Only on one wheel though. Is this normaL?!?

If its peeling then the whole wheel needs to be chromed again. Usually it happens if the wheel was damaged or if the chrome wasn't done properly.

When I bought my stang the previous owner had on a set of chrome 18's on it. It wasnt until after I bought the stang that I realized all of the chrome on the inner side of the wheels is chipping and peeling off. My assumption is that the previous owner of my stang used these wheels in the winter time (I live in michigan, crappy salty roads 5 months of the year. So is it normal, I guess so if you dont take care of your wheels.
How much is it to get your rims re-chromed? I was reading that it can cost more than buying new wheels!

You'd have to find a chrome plater in your area and send it to them. Places like speed shops might be able to help you find one.
