usually you dont chrome aluminum, you chrome steel.
AL requires (I Forget Exactly) another layer of metal plating before the chrome adheres...this causes the item to be chromed to be WAY HOTTER than normal....That is why you never see chromed intakes.
yeah i know some guys with fox bodys with the chrome W.P. looks good way longer than pollished RC pm me if you want to know who to get the new one from .i'm omn my way out to the garage to take mine apart right now maybe i'll take a pic of it.
you can get a chrome one for the fox bodys from summit.try and find some stainless bolts and paint it the same color as your block that will look good.

oh you guys lol -i have had a pollished water pump for 3 years and yes ti does suck to keep it looking good , charlie just put one on his car too ,the edelbrock one is for 5.0 trucks.... do you want to know who makes it ??????
