Clanky....aka noisy transmission????

Hello.

A week ago today I purchased a 2002 GT with 30k miles on it.

I am loving the car but I was just wondering about what is normal when it comes to transmission noise.

The manual transmission functions perfectly.....no problems at all. But when shifting gears you can hear the clanking and clicking from under the car of the gears being changed.

Is this normal???

It doesn't necessarily bother me, but if it's not a normal noise then I will have it looked at.

Mine clanks all the time.
It's drivetrain slack. and embarrasing.

So drivetrain slack is a normal thing?

Nothing to be concerned about?
