Clarkson LOVES the Roush.

Yes, but once again he has no clue what he is talking about. He states the Roush has a supercharged 4.6 with 415 Hp(correct) and then states the Shelby has the the Same 4.6 with a larger supercharger for 475 hp (wrong).

This guy is clueless because I believe the GT500 has a supercharged 5.4 with revised suspension and brakes. He seems pretty biased towards the Rousch. What is this guy's background in automotive anyways? Never heard of him but his videos seem to be talked about alot on this forum.

ramjetlx, Clarkson is the host of a British car show (Top Gear) that is more about entertainment than it is about the cold, hard facts. Poking fun of American cars seems to be a general theme of the show, and from what I can tell, that is what sells. Supposedly, he's the highest paid automotive talking head over there. You don't get that way without ratings.

What are the differences in the Roush suspension compared to a regular GT??

Quotes directly from the Roush website about the Stage 2 and 3 suspension.

"The suspension upgrade, with beefy anti roll bars, higher-rate springs, new lower control arms and Billstein shocks, sends a signal that this is a vehicle for serious drivers. With KD tires, Stage 2 will generate over 1.0 g in lateral acceleration."
"The Stage 3 combines increased horsepower and torque with carefully engineered changes to suspension, braking, and body systems. The result - unbridled performance with the superb handling of a true thoroughbred."
