Let me see if I can find some pics from when I did my install. It's a little tricky.

I'll be back...

I know you probably would like some answers quick but I've got a really bad cold and the few pictures I found on this computer doesn't have the details of my install. I'll have to look on my other computer most likely tomorrow. I did my install around four years (plus) ago so it's not fresh in my memory. But I'm pretty certain you have to pull off your rear panel to put on the brackets and then cut the panels once they are back on and then put the bars inside for riveting. Be careful when you cut cause once you do, you can't undo it.

Be patient and I'll help where I can...

Here's some pictures from something unrelated but you can see my rivet plugs...

The arrows in the first two pictures are not pointing to anything related to the lightbar. That's something different. But if you look at the panels, you'll see two plugs on each side that are where your rivets are going to go.

Btw... do you have the brake light on your bar? It's going to require that you remove your rear seat to wire it in. Plus I hope you got the "top up 'shut off'" switch if you did. You don't want your light bar lighting up when you have the top up.

the light bar is from CDC and it has an led light. i bought it from mustangs unlimited. i also bought the "shut off" switch from them too. the wiring instructions say that there is a long rectangular box in the driver area where the back seat is. all i see is a very thin grey box that has a wire harness that goes into the trunk area. is that the box that i need to use to connect the light bar and switch?

Again, it's been a long time since I did this but yeah, I think that's the box. It should be mostly behind the rear seat back. There should be around 30 wires or so in it. The instructions should explain which wires to look for. There's a lot of wires to look through.

I still haven't been able to find my old pictures from my install.
