guys, I was wondering what your opinions are on exhaust pipes. When I look at our cars, one of my favorite things about the body style is the way the exhaust pipes come straight out after they clear the rear axles. In my mind anyway, it seems to evoke images of the classic roadster's straight pipes. I've been noticing that more and more people are adding body kits that hide the straight pipes. I saw it today in an otherwise picture perfect 94-95 cobra. Lots of us are also putting in side exhausts. Even though I'm only 20, I'm still all about the old school look, how do you guys feel?

I like both straight tail pipes, and side exhaust if its done right. My favorite side exhaust is the ones on the old Shelby Cobras where you can see the pipe running down the side

yeah i agree. I think that side exhaust is a cool idea and i like how it looks from certain angles. But there is just something wrong when there arent two big shiny exhaust tips coming out the back of a late model mustang.
