1964-73 Mustang Interior Consoles

Pictured above are two of TMI's Deluxe two tone center consoles. These consoles are available to either fit over your existing factory console, or to sit directly on the driveshaft hump.

They are made of the same high quality vinyls as our seat upholstery, along with matching french seams and chrome trim. Our goal was to make an aftermarket console that at first glance did not appear to be aftermarket at all. (the same way of thinking that lead us to manufacture our Sport Seats ). Consoles are available in dual or single color options, as well as a Standard Version (without chrome trim) or our Deluxe Version (with Chrome trim).

The result is a clean, functional sharp looking console that fits right in with your stock or custom interior!

That is nice.
Do you plan on making one that extends all the way up to the dash, similar to a 67 or 68 Shelby console?

That's what I really want, but the only company that makes something like that wants an arm and leg. I plan on attempting to build one myself.

We've played around with the idea of a full length console but there are no concrete plans to manufacture one anytime soon.

I've seen quite a few guys undertake the challenge of making their own and quite a few have come out with great looking pieces. Most started with a ply wood shaped frame and then simply wrapped it in foam and vinyl. G'luck!!
